Faith Hill Denies Being a Sore Loser

Faith Hill says that her "WHAT?!" comment towards the camera when Carrie Underwood was chosen over her for Female Vocalist of the year was nothing more than a joke. The moment was captured on cameras at the CMA's, and has the media screaming "sore loser" at Faith. She commented on the incident:
"The idea that I would act disrespectful towards a fellow musician is unimaginable to me. For this to be the focus of attention given the talent gathered is utterly ridiculous. Carrie is a talented and deserving Female Vocalist of the Year."
She apparently looked visably upset and stormed off the stage, too...I can't find a video clip that shows that angle, though.

I think it looks a little like she's preening herself and thinking she's going to win, but does she really look mad? Don't think so...what do you think?

I think she was trying to pull off a joke but it backfired...anyway, is that the best time to pull a joke like that? Why not be gracious and then toss out a few kidding remarks afterwards?

I think it is a little sneaky for the cameras to focus on her when others were nominated but I guess just having all that talent under one roof was not enough you have to stir the pot of controversy. That being said it did appear she was all set to come from the wings and accept her award and was shocked when her name was not announced. They say that the eyes are the window to the soul and if you watch her eyes and the way her mouth drops you can tell she was visibly disturbed but to go as far as to say she disk Carrie Underwood is carrying the controversy to far. Over confident -guilty!Openly angry or less then the gracious lady she has always been herself and her craft and peer group --Innocent!!
