The Quest for a Cleaner Britney Image Continues

Spears really must be after a comeback. Her manager (for the 2nd time around), Larry Rudolph, has been leaking positive Spears affirmations to the press throughout the past couple of weeks.

To show what a truly responsible adult Brit is, Rudolph has let it be known that Britney, contrary to speculation, was not drunk or passed out at a Los Vegas nightclub after hosting the New Year's Eve countdown.

Oh no. Drunk? Passed out? Britney???!!! Of course, there is a logical explanation. Ruldolph contends that Britney had actually fallen asleep shortly after the countdown.

They must have big plans for her if they want to keep defending her behavior. Old Larry has got his work cut out for him!
