Broncos Darrent Williams Killed

Not a good way to start the new year! The Denver Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams was shot and killed early this morning in downtown Denver in a drive by shooting (at his limousine), the result of an argument at a nightclub.

Wide receiver Javon Walker was also in the car, but unharmed, and says that the tiff at the nightclub really had nothing to do with Williams.

There was also another man and a woman in the limo that were hit.

How awful! You're a few hours into 2007, probably thinking about what the coming year has in store for you, and some asshole in a white Hummer shoots up your vehicle. It's not a good omen for the coming year!
